Madeira

This lovely island is popular with British visitors. It is situated well out in the Atlantic off the Saharan coast of Africa. at a latitude of 32 deg. N. The temperature seldom varies more than a couple of degrees from 20c whatever the season so it is springlike all the year round. These pictures, all from the gardens of Reids hotel were taken in February, a week after the devastating floods of 2010.
