Tasmania

I hesitate to say this, but no-one should go to Australasia without visiting this amazing island. I only hesitate since it is so beautiful I would like to keep it to myself. As it is it is uninhabited in much of the West where rainforests and mountains predominate and to the South and East, within the catchment area of the capital, Hobart the landscape is dotted with lakes, valleys and green hills. Here the coastline is a maze of inlets and bays. For those who enjoy unspoilt and spectacular scenery the island is a paradise.
