A fabulous retreat high in the Cederberg mountains, near Clanwilliam in the South - Western Cape. Hire an SUV - it is at least 15 kilometres up an unmade road. But when you arrive you think it must be paradise!
Red Bishops nest in the reeds vying for the sturdiest with weavers. The male builds the weaver's nest and if the female finds it not up to scratch she'll pull it down!!
