The Gulf of Morbihan: Port Navalo
This is a lovely fishing village situated on the Rhuys Peninsular. It overlooks the entrance to the Gulf. Lobster, crab and flat fish are landed here and boats ply their trade offering visits to Vannes through the Gulf, to Auray, up the Auray river and out to sea to the islands of Houat, Hoedic and Belle Isle.

No set of photographs of this area would be complete without an example of my favourite view. I make no apologies, it is simply glorious here. This picture was taken with a medium format camera and Fuji Reala negative film. The light was not particularly flattering to the scene but was very clear. The houses on the horizon are crystal clear at A3. Buy one!!
