The hospitality here is quite amazing. So is the scenery on the 7000 hectare estate. A real landscape photographers paradise. Quagga's have ben re-introduced to complement an array of indigenous animals all of which can be viewed morning and evening from a courtesy Land Rover.

The wood

Eucalyptus trees are ubiquitous here and you either love or hate them. I love them like I love everything about this stupendous country. The trees are kept in check to avoid draining the water table but those that remain provide welcome shade for the animals (and visitors!) when temperatures rise above 40c.
