The Old Oak

The Old Oak

This much loved Old Oak tree in Rousham Park was photographed being aged in 2004. It turned out to be more than 1000 years old, one of the oldest in the country. Sadly it has now collapsed, being unable to withstand a number of exceptionally high winds. We shall miss him. This picture looks stunning at A3+ and anyone is more than welcome in return for a small donation to Lower Heyford or Rousham church.
