These pictures are all taken within short walking distance of my home. They are more a record than works of art but do, I hope, capture the wonderful changes of light in this picturesque valley
Rape in the Valley
The fields of the , nowadays, ubiquitous rape can be bland unless the sky and the horizon offer some interest. Paradoxically a plain sky suits the rape fields better than the most photogenic clouds and here we have the bonus of Steeple Aston on the horizon, Lower Heyford, save the church tower, being tucked away in the valley and out of view.
