Victoria Falls
One of the truly awesome sights of the world. The falls, over a mile wide on the Zambezi river, straddle both Zambia and Zimbabwe. My pictures are taken from the eastern cataract in Zambia, just below Livingstone and a short walk from the Royal Livingstone and Zambezi Sun hotels.
A broad perspective
Taken from a helicopter, by my Belgian friend Arlette, the picture shows something of the huge scale of this natural phenomenon. No-one should pass through life without seeing this sight which touches the soul.
