The Gulf of Morbihan: Port Navalo
This is a lovely fishing village situated on the Rhuys Peninsular. It overlooks the entrance to the Gulf. Lobster, crab and flat fish are landed here and boats ply their trade offering visits to Vannes through the Gulf, to Auray, up the Auray river and out to sea to the islands of Houat, Hoedic and Belle Isle.

Early morning

The entrance to the Gulf, one of my favourite views in the entire world, looks at its very best in the early morning. It is peaceful and perfect. Please don't tell anyone you've seen it here.
