India; Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
The tiger is threatened in India. This huge, spectacular and well managed reserve has, it is reported, between 30 and 40 tigers and their cubs but they are very difficult to see. Good for them!!

The Maharaja's retreat

There is everything in this remarkable reserve.Tigers have been sighted looking for crocodiles in the lake.A smart move is to pounce when the crocodile has just caught a fish. Two for the price of one!
